Ha sido uno de los episodios más comentados y esperados (desde que en el trailer inicial se podía ver a un Capitán América cadavérico) de '¿Qué pasaría si...?', la serie de animación de Marvel que plantea historias paralelas a las que ya conocemos del MCU. ¿Y si la Agente Carter fuera el Capitán América? ¿Y si Pantera Negra fuera Starlord? Y en este caso... ¿y si existieran zombis en el Universo Marvel?
Las historias de la serie se inspiran indirectamente en un cómic del mismo título, 'What if...?' que ha vivido distintas encarnaciones desde su nacimiento en 1977. Tradicionalmente con el ominoso Vigilante como narrador (aunque no siempre, debido a la trayectoria del propio personaje en la editorial), ha sido una cabecera muy querida por los fans, y ha planteado todo tipo de historias alternativas -desde un Punisher cuya familia nunca murió a una Tía May como heraldo de Galactus-.

It has been one of the most talked about and anticipated episodes (since the initial trailer showed a cadaverous Captain America) of 'What if...', Marvel's animated series that proposes parallel stories to the ones we already know from the MCU. What if Agent Carter was Captain America? What if Black Panther was Starlord? And for that matter... What if there were zombies in the Marvel Universe?
The stories in the series are indirectly inspired by a comic book of the same title, 'What if...?' which has seen various incarnations since its inception in 1977. Traditionally featuring the ominous Vigilante as the narrator (though not always, due to the character's own trajectory at the publisher), it has been a beloved masthead for fans, and has featured all sorts of alternate histories - from a Punisher whose family never died to an Aunt May as Galactus' herald.
